Easter Preview Service - What to Expect (1).png

You are invited to join us for our Grand Opening!

We are so thankful you have decided to join us for the Grand Opening of Harvest Ministries! Whether you have been in church most of your life, have never been in church before, or have been in and out of church over the years, Harvest Ministries is a great place to feel known, loved, and safe. Our prayer is that as we launch into weekly services at Braswell High School, it will bring us back closer to God and our neighbors while stirring our hearts to connect with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Children's church will be available for ages Kindergarten through 3rd grade. We recommend registering early to assist the check-in process.

If something you hear during the service leads you to make a first-time decision for Christ or caused you to recommit to a decision made a long time ago, we would love to know that and to have the chance to connect with you. We were meant to be in community!

Please refer to our frequently asked questions below to help plan your visit.

  • Where will the Christmas Celebration be held?
The Christmas Celebration will be held at Braswell High School in the Auditorium. There will be plenty of smiling faces and directional signs to guide you to the school and service location. The address of the school is 26750 E University Dr, Aubrey, TX 76227. From Denton: Driving east on US Hwy 380, turn right onto Navo Rd then park in front of the school. From McKinney/Frisco: Driving west on US Hwy 380, turn left onto Navo Rd then park in front of the school.
  • Will Harvest Kids be available?
Harvest Kids not will be available on Dec 22nd as children in the ministry and volunteers will be participating in the Christmas Play and Dance. We welcome all kids under 5th grade to experience Harvest Kids on the Sundays before and after December 22nd. This includes praise and worship, a Bible story teaching, interactive games, recess, and snacks. If your child would prefer to stay with you during service, we provide a family area inside the worship center with soft toys and books for them to enjoy. A nursing mom's area is also available with a TV that broadcasts the service. More information can be found on our Children's Ministry page.
  • What type of worship music should be expected?
For our Christmas Celebration, we will have a Choir Concert featuring our Harvest Mass Choir singing a collection of Christmas songs that glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This will be an amazing experience you won't want to miss! On the Sundays leading up to and after our Christmas Celebration, expect a range of modern, high energy, Christ-centered, and Spirit-filled worship music! On any given Sunday, you'll hear gospel and contemporary music, as well as hymns, depending upon the occasion.
  • What will the Christmas Celebration be like?
Our Christmas Celebration will begin with a Choir Concert and Advent Moment. Pastor Eric will share a brief, Christ-centered message and we will end with a Christmas Play performed by our Harvest Kids & Students entitled "The Beginning of our Savior". Following the Christmas Play, there will be a joyous time of fellowship with refreshments and various photo ops for the entire family! Expect to be with us for about 75 to 90 minutes.
  • Does the church meet every Sunday?
Yes! On December 22nd, we will be meeting in Braswell High School's Auditorium at 11AM. When you arrive, you'll come in through the Auditorium entrance. Every other Sunday, we meet at 11:00 AM at Braswell High School. The address is 26750 E University Dr, Aubrey, TX 76227. You'll come in through the main entrance on the southeast corner of US Hwy 380 and Navo Rd.
  • Is this church affiliated with a denomination or is it nondenominational?
We follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe that all should "Come and See" as Jesus instructed many to do. Upon visiting, we believe that you'll be able to identify if Harvest Ministries is a place you feel loved, known, and safe and would like to call home. For more on our theological beliefs, please read our Statement of Faith.
  • How should I dress for this Christmas Celebration service?
We are a "come as you are" kind of church. Whether you prefer Sunday's best, jeans and sneakers, or an ugly Christmas sweater, all are welcome to worship with us.
  • What time does service start?
Church service begins promptly at 11:00am so it is highly encouraged to arrive when doors open at 10:45am so you are able to enjoy the free coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and water before finding your seat.
  • What Bible translation will the pastor teach from?
Pastor Eric uses the New American Standard Bible (NASB), which is considered a word-for-word translation. However, other translations can and will be utilized as needed.
